REVIT FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Create more accurate and optimized designs

Use Revit for every phase of your project, from concept to visualization. With BIM tools, capture and communicate concepts and precise intent.

REVIT FOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

Deliver more consistent, coordinated projects

Streamline projects, from design concept to fabrication, with Revit. Improve installation accuracy and constructability by connecting your structural design to the detailed model.

REVIT FOR MEP ENGINEERING

Design complex building systems with confidence

Revit helps engineers, designers, and contractors across the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) disciplines model to a high level of detail and easily coordinate with building project contributors.

REVIT FOR CONSTRUCTION

Tools for every stage of your project

The success of your project relies on decisions you make during its early stages. Using Revit design data during the preconstruction phase helps minimize constructability risks.

Parametric components

An open, graphical system for design and form-making, and the basis for all building components designed in Revit.

Worksharing

Contributors from multiple disciplines can share and save their work to the same centrally shared file.

Schedules

Create a tabular display of model information extracted from the properties of the elements in a project.

Interoperability and IFC

Revit imports, exports, and links your data with commonly used formats, including IFC4.

Add-ins

Extend Revit functionality with API access, add-ins, and a content library on the Autodesk App Store.

Annotation

Communicate designs more effectively with WYSIWYG editing and features that let you control text appearance.

Dynamo for Revit

Expand and optimize BIM workflows with an open-source graphical programming interface that installs with Revit.

Global parameters

Embed design intent with projectwide parameters that work with radial and diameter dimensions and equality constraints.

System requirements for Autodesk Revit 2019 products

Issue:

Autodesk® Revit® models usually store and handle a significant amount of BIM data. When working with this data it is important to make sure that the system meets the requirements needed by Revit for a good performance.

This article provides system requirements and recommendations for the Autodesk® Revit® 2019 product line.
Meeting these requirements is necessary to make sure that Autodesk Revit stays performant on a system.

Solution:
